I would like to be able to map a button on my Controller via Steam VR (or any other way).
So i can use Wingman while in VR. Without having to walk to my keyboard to press a button.

We tried again but couldn't find a solution that is stable and reliable enough.

Use controller/arduino button press as trigger.

I would like to use buttons on my racing wheel and/or arduino button box as trigger keys for different assistants. It seems this is not possible right now.

I'll leave it open but it's unlikely that we'll implement this in the near future as it's almost impossible for us to do or to test. Too many devices, too many drivers, different OS...
People work around it like this:
- bind your device buttons to keyboard keys (with your custom driver software etc.)
- use these keyboard keys in Wingman AI for commands

ShipBit Thank you for considering. I was wondering though: These controller/Arduino buttons show up in Windows as joystick buttons. Can the trigger not be tied to these Windows joystick/controller inputs?

ShipBit DirectInput hasn't really changed since DX9, how many other OS's have you compiled for? I only ever get the windows downloader, and would LOVE this on Linux instead.

Nathan Smith Put a Linux version in a dedicated feature request please - it's a valid one but doesn't belong here. Thank you!
